After your
Procedure
Proper care following
your procedure is necessary to achieve the best
results. Keep in mind that in many cases, some unevenness
of colour is to be expected after the first application.
This is the purpose of the follow up visit.
Please review the following directions and refer
to them as necessary. If during your healing process
you have any questions or concerns, please contact
your permanent make-up artist.

•No lotions, creams or water on the treated area
for at least 12 hours after the procedure.
•After a lip procedure, avoid spicy foods or heat.
After the 12 hours, apply a small amount of lubricant
to the area (Laser gel, Polisporin or Zambuk).
•If fever blisters occur, call your technician or
contact your pharmacist.
Please note:
•Wash your hands before touching any treated area.
Do not expose the area to any dirty or unsanitary
conditions. •Some itching or sensitivity is normal.
Do not pick, peel or scratch the treated area, or
your colour will heal unevenly and you will risk
scarring and infection.

• For one week following your
procedure, do not expose your healing skin to direct sun, tanning
beds, steam rooms, saunas, salt water, chlorinated pools, direct
shower spray, hot water, skin creams, ointments or lotions other
than what you have been instructed to use. Long Term Care Use a
good sunscreen daily, even lips require protection. Sun exposure
will fade your permanent cosmetics.
•If you are planning a chemical peel, MRI, or other medical procedures,
please inform your physician of your Permanent make-up.
•If you donate blood, it is a blood bank policy that you must wait
6 months after any tattoo procedure.
Once you have completed your Touch-Up visit, you may require further
adjustments. As we are dealing with the skin and each individual’s
skin will react differently, we can never be 100% sure that the
treatment will be perfect after the suggested number of treatment.
